Written by Ignacio Gómez Mac Gregor, SJ

P1100965

The youth of MEJ organized last Friday 22 Way of the Cross through the streets of the city, together with youth of Catholic Action Group and the Mission of the Cathedral. It was a very successful joint effort and encourages us to continue looking forward other agencies to work together to pass on our faith.

Who are we?

Written by MEJ Administrator

Logo_MEJ_claro We are a Movement

Willing to walk with Jesus ...
Boys and girls, young people, we grow in community, protagonists of our Christian mission in the world to serve our brothers in the style of Jesus.
Called by Jesus to join a church movement that is born of the Apostleship of Prayer and Eucharistic spirituality shares, which springs from the Heart of Jesus.

We are a Eucharistic Movement ... We eat at your table ...

We seek to identify with Jesus, who gives his life for us.
We seek to make our feelings that spring from his heart.
We seek a simple life, simple as Jesus in the Eucharist.
Let us seek to model the Eucharist, we receive life so that,
giving thanks, we do ours,
giving thanks, giving,
giving thanks, Jesus style.
We seek the bread of Jesus to feed others.
We strive to be accepting with courage Eucharistic Jesus' cross.

We are a Eucharistic Youth Movement .. . To serve with joy to his style.

We recognize in Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Way in a time of searching and definitive choices.
Truth in a time of confusion and crisis of identity.
Living in a culture of death.

We are called by Jesus and the Church to live out our mission today and not just tomorrow.
We want to tell the world that our joy springs from the encounter with God,
to love unselfishly
look at our history with hope,
Jesus project that excites us
and moves us to act.
