Camping in Mascardi.

An unforgettable experience

On Monday morning we woke with the desire to do the activities that we played that day. Earlier we had snow suits start at noon positions for the road to Cerro Catedral. On the way we saw the beautiful relief of the area. After a time travel begin to see the mountains in the distance ahead of us that afternoon.

Once there we got on the chairlift, at that time and as we gained height, we realize our insignificance by the immensity of the mountains that surrounded us.

Upon reaching destination assigned us our sector of "battle", the scene of an unforgettable war of all against all, which was a continuation of the days had been given earlier in the Cerro thundering, where no one had been spared the snow. After a while the energies were not sufficient to continue the fight, so decided to group together to slide as quickly as possible up the steep mountain.

Hours later, unfortunately our time was up, we had to leave this paradise back and whitish, with the help and guidance of God we have a great time among peers and an experience you never forget.

Back in the base of the hill take a snack and then continue with the trip, the day continued in downtown Bariloche.

Concordia, a new experience.

The proposal for this year for us, students in 4th and 5th year of Immaculate College, was to join the group GIA (Group Ignatian animators) to perform various activities Jesuit, one Encounter with Christ.
About two months ago we prepared to take a first meeting in the town of Concord. In this first instance prepare lectures, practice songs and play games in order to carry out an unforgettable day.
In early September 2011 we went to school and San Roque to fulfill our mission: to bring the word of God. Those days we were eating and sleeping at home that was near the school.
The boys were excellent and we place great relationship despite the different realities. Not only could teach some things, but came back with many lessons and experiences of those ten guys.
In the mornings of those weeks do the various encounters with Christ divided into groups according to grade level we played. Joy and anger were the feelings of these children throughout the day. The affection received was impressive and could perform all activities without any problems.
The message of each meeting was very well built and we carry with us a hope and happiness that will never be forgotten. We came back raring to go ahead and hold on to this wonderful group for any task that comes our way. Thanks to the College for this opportunity and the rector in particular his work at Concordia, a school from scratch and a home, strength and dedication that is growing day by day.

The idol.

He looked at me and I looked at him. I felt like his eyes rested on me, like a vulture resting on the dry branch of a tree until their flight and continues up their journey. His red eyes were so beautiful, so beautiful, beautiful. Her golden skin emitted a faint glow, aided by the light of lamps hanging from the ceiling. His smile seemed to be directed to the little that was left of my conscience. I leaned over the glass, leaving my fingerprints and stamped my forehead. Why among all men in the place I had chosen me? Why should I be their savior?

- Behave at a time, Luciano .- said a voice behind me was' You look a little kid watching the window of a toy store.

- I just wanted to see the details of the head .- I responded to a 49-year-old named James, who wore a brown uniform and a black cap, similar to the police. He was one of the guards of the Golden Museum. He already had many more years than me at this office.

- Well look retarded every time I do. Go to monitor the area of insects .-

I bowed my head and walked away. When I walked into the living room is I had indicated, I turned my head and look again to the golden idol. He was made of pure gold, with the small human shape of a big head, with red ruby eyes, a smile made with real teeth and was behind a small glass case. This was supported by a wooden column of 1 meter high. At the top was a small sign indicating their origin: "Basin of Mexico." It had belonged to the Aztec culture, which after they had been seized by the conquerors.

Suddenly, I felt like a lover who looks at his bride away in a boat. In my mind echoed a faint voice, calling me. I wanted to return with him. "Not yet," I thought, as she squeezed my black belt, "When night falls, be with you ... forever"

***

Today I had to do the night watch. Before coming, I was really nervous, as a young man will have his first date with the girl he likes and prepare in advance everything that is going to do, so that the match is perfect. When I entered the museum, I started running towards the place where I met my idol. When I arrived, I broke the glass cover with the butt of my gun. My hand reached out and took the picture. At that moment I felt a chill. Passed through my mind frightening images. A native appeared out of a movie stabbed to another, a decapitated a native conqueror who looked like a leader, a soldier with bayonet shot one that had the same uniform, and in the middle of all these scenes, was the idol.

A faint sound me from my trance. I turned and I saw a gun drawn Santiago, without insurance and pointers.

- Ehhh ... James, I can explain it .-

- Not required. I was watching all the times I stared at the sculpture .- began, in a strange voice .- The want, I conquered. We reduced his slave, his pet. As it has done the same for centuries, enjoying the death of their hosts. I have studied its history from beginning to end and I know their ways.

- Shut up, you know nothing! Envy the fact that I have chosen me! - I cried. He threw in the face, causing them to pull back and fire his gun at the same time. The shooting happened near me and I used to take my gun and shoot at Santiago in the chest. I was certain. His body fell to the ground and a pool of blood began to form around him. And licking it, was the idol.

I squatted beside him like a mother does with her little concerned that it has fallen. I took in my arms and stood up. Then, your eyes saw a flash out. I felt my pulse quicken. His teeth appeared to move and released a grim laugh. My body is weak. My legs could not support me. Then, I fell.

The police opened a plastic bag he held in his hands. A belt attached to it, with the word "Evidence" written in red. The man unfolded his big, sweaty hands. Something flashed in like a miniature sun shut up in that small space. He looked around to make sure he was alone in the office of research. For 15 minutes it had reached the evidence of a murder with no witnesses or officials and it was his duty to examine them. He drew blood on a statue and watched. Ruby's eyes looked at him and settled his weak mind. The policeman took his face a strange expression. Now it belonged to the idol, and should comply with each of its orders.

The walker.
